The Front Faces!

Arriving at Cooper Aitken & Partners, the first faces you are likely to see will be one of our wonderful reception staff, Christine or Maree.

Maree Sattler is team leader for our office administration team. Maree also works hard at updating our internal office systems and happily turns her hand to a wide variety of other essential jobs.

Christine Smith is the person most likely to greet you when you visit our offices or even make a phone call to us - our cheerful, friendly receptionist grew up on a farm and has lived in Morrinsville for over 20 years. Married to a farmer and mother of three adult children, she loves to travel spending much of the year working out were the upcoming years trip will take her!

Those not meeting Christine are likely to be greeted by the smiling Lorna Peace.

And then, there are our Team Leaders who also serve as support and backup for the partners!

Janet Pitkethly ACA is Rodney Aitken’s Client Manager. Janet started working for Bob Aitken in 1964 and, except for 6 years of part time work (when she and her husband went sharemilking in Tahuna) she has been here to see all the changes - taxes, the introduction of GST, legislation, as well as more personal changes in partners and staff. She enjoys keeping up with modern changes as they happen, and in 1997 completed her studies (done part time and fitted in to a busy work schedule).

Linda Mason-Riseborough is Imran Raza’s Client Manager. Linda returned to the workforce joining RA Aitken & Associates in 1996 after a break away with her children. She is a great resource in many areas, especially companies and family assistance. Linda currently lives on small dairy unit (but is quick to point out that she is not involved in any of the farming operations).

Joanne Burmester is Peter Hexter’s Client Manager. Joanne started at Cooper Aitken in 2003. She takes pride in completing an excellent standard of work and enjoys the challenge of managing both a team of staff and Peter's workflow.

Vanessa Plasmeyer and Tracy Hampton CA backup and support Gavin Haddon as Team Leader and Client Manager. Both are locals who have a strong knowledge of the community.

Rachel Robb CA is Grant Eddy's Client Manager. She moved to Morrinsville from the South Island and enjoys the responsibility of her job.

Linda Peek stepped into the role of Client Manager for Trevor in 2008 and has enjoyed the extra responibility.

Other support staff for both office and clients:

John Brosnan is the Business Adviser. John has been an active business mentor with Business Mentors New Zealand for two and a half years, assisting a wide range of businesses. His main qualifications are in management, business and human resources and he really enjoy's any opportunity to help people improve their business. Outside of work he is balanced by a wife and two sons, he plays and coaches hockeyand enjoys cycling, swimming, coaching the kids sports and playing some squash. Jenny Hawthorn is the Office Manager. Jenny moved to Morrinsville to work for Cooper Aitken & Partners early in 2003. With a varied history ranging from survey draughting, running a rural general store, working as a computer consultant in a large Auckland Accountants, kiwifruit & avocado orcharding, through to Internet web page and accounting software development, Jenny enjoys the variety offered by Cooper Aitken & Partners and is currently completing an MBA with Waikato University.
