Christmas Message

It has been a pleasure working with our clients throughout 2012 and we would like to wish you a very Happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Office Holiday Hours

The offices will be closed from 4 pm on Friday, 21 December 2012 and will reopen at 8.30 am on Monday, 7 January 2013

Team News

Congratulations to Donna and Drew on the arrival of baby Mia born 3 October 2012.

Shirley Scherer was congratulated on achieving 25 years plus with CooperAitken.

Lorna Peace (right) achieved her 10 years’ service with CooperAitken in September. Many of you will know Lorna from her days on reception; now Lorna is working on keeping our database up todate, and printing clients’ financial accounts and tax returns.

New Team members

Louise Cullen (below left) started with us at the beginning of September. Louise, who  is managing our workflow, is very client focussed and is actively looking at ways to optimise the turnaround of client work.

Cherry Philpott (below right) joined the team in early November and is looking to support and help our clients with their accounting software packages.

Christmas Party-

This year the team had their Christmas office party at Windy Ridge, Ohaupo and were entertained by Tantrum a band from Auckland. See the photos click here

Fund Raising

The team supported all the charities days and finished the year looking ‘Pretty in Pink’ raising money for breast cancer.

Morrinsville Playcentre

We also put a team in for the Morrinsville Playcentre  quiz, to help raise money for a safer playground area.







Christmas Parade 2012

The theme for the Christmas Parade was nursery rhymes. Once again CooperAitken were the major sponsors of the parade and with the involvement of lots of the team decorated our float as the Cat and the fiddle. And we won Best Commercial Float AGAIN!!! see more photos..

Seminars and presentations

Chris Finlayson made a whirlwind stop at the CooperAitken business centre on 12 October and delivered an insightful talk on his roles as Attorney General, Minister of Arts and Minister of Treaty Settlements.

During November we held two seminars, firstly for our farmers – ‘Keep Farming Successfully’ and for our commercial clients we arranged a Xero Software demonstration.
