10th Annual Morrinsville College Fun Run/Walk
CooperAitken was one of the main sponsors of the 10th annual Morrinsville Fun Run held Sunday 6th November. It was an amazing day with a record 740 entrants. 32 CooperAitken members all decked out in their matching shirts! Everyone that entered received a medal and a branded drink bottle.
There was something for everyone distances for a walk and run included:
- 1/2 Marathan
- 1/2 Marathon
- 10km
- 5km
The CooperAitken team really got into the spirit and race strategies included:
" Well I have a definite strategy - go out hard and then.... slow down" says Shane Ridley
" I'm feeling good; my plan of no training, no strategy and no running has worked to perfection"
"The cool temperature will allow me to maintain a higher pace overall and the tail wind and my music should help me get home over the finish in good time as per my schedul

At the end the team continued the fun back at the offices with a barbeque and prize giving.
