CooperAitken care very much about the community and towns they are in, supporting many clubs, organisations and events in the local community. Below are details of what we are currently involved in or raising money for.....
Bring us your old mobile phone and earn Starship some cash
We support Starship’s National Air Ambulance Service. This appeal turns unwanted mobile phones into cash and supports a service that brings the most seriously injured and critically ill children to Starship from all parts of New Zealand.
Operation Cover up – bring us wool
Helen Stevens, one of our senior accountants, has been knitting and now she needs your help. Helen knits for Operation Cover Up, a registered charity where volunteers knit and supply items in the main to international children’s orphanages. Helen has run out of wool – so if you have any spare wool at home please pop it into the office so we can get Helen knitting again.

We supported Patrick Roskam with his amazing new invention the Gugdeon 4 in 1. He was at the Fieldays to promote his new gadget and is competing for Grassroots Invention of the year and Young Inventor of the year award.
Kiwitahi District Centenary 19th-21st April 2013
Peruse through the 100 year history of Kiwitahi district and school in this amazing book. See some of the pictures and memories of the original farms and changes that have occured in the area are included in the book. You will also see photo's of Kiwitahi and Tahuroa school which has sadly now closed. A piece of history to treasure for a lifetime. Great coffee table conversation piece starter. Available to purchase beginning of July.
CooperAitken are sponsoring our local Theatre's production of Chicago. Rehearsels are underway. Team member Troy Hallet is playing Fred Casely, and a number of other camo roles. The show opens 8th - 22nd June. Book tickets now at iticket or free phone 0508 484 2538.

Morrinsville Theatre - July/August 2012
We were gold sponsors of the Lip Sync competition held in August. Troy joined in the fun and did a very good inpersonation of Freddie Mercury which earnt him 2nd place.

HeartStopper Challenge - May 2012
5th May Peter, Kiel, Kylie and Vanessa are takign the plunge and getting into a spa of icy water to raise fund for heart kids. the whole team have been raising funds with a Mufti dress down day this Friday. To sponsor the team go to our fund raising page.

For the 4th year running Cooperaitken is the principal sponsor for the Christmas Parade. This year it is to held on Saturday 8th December at 11am and the theme is 'Nursery Rhymes'. Many local businesses get involved with the parade its a real community spirit activity. Entry Form. The staff at CooperAitken enjoy putting together a float. And in 2010 and 2011 we won The Best Commercial Float.
St Patricks Day
The team got behind St Patricks day, dressing up in green and probably drinking guinness !!
Rangers Netball Club
Based in Morrinsville, started in 2008. The club fosters competitive netball, played in good spirit. Players include university students, mothers, professionals and business owners. Playing a high standard of netball whilst enjoying the social aspects of being involved in a team.

Morrinsville College PTA 10th Annual Fun Run - 2011
CooperAitken sponsored this event 6th November 2011 and provided drink bottles for all the entrants. It attracted over 700 entrants, with funds raised of over $10,000 for the Morrinsville College... more
Morrinsville Fire Service
CooperAitken have assisted the Morrinsville Volunteer fire service for many many years, and in recognition of our help they have kindly put our logo on the back of their van.
Morrinsville Sports - Netball
CooperAitken has sponsored the uniform for the girls, who play netball - the Morrinsville Sport Swingers. They play in A Reserve every Thursday night at Campbell Park in Morrinsville up until August.
Morrinsville Sports Junior Rugby
CooperAitken are sponsoring the shirts for the 12th and 13th grades. The team plays in the Waikato with competitions covering Matamata, Tokoroa, Putaruru and Cambridge.
Rugby Gwynne Shield
CooperAitken are supporting the team with their rugby shirts.
Gwynne shield is the premier Morrinsville representative side for intermediate age children played each year in the July school holidays against 9 other Waikato representative sides.
The Gwynne Shield has been competed for since 1921 and was won by Morrinsville in 1922,1933,1949,1954,1959,1995.
Morrinsville Cricket Senior Mens 1st XI
CooperAitken provided the shirts for the team, who trained every Wednesday and played every Saturday around the region.
Matamata Club 2011
CooperAitken supported the Club and its 1000 members.
Walton Golf Club 2011
CooperAitken sponsor a tees at the club. This type of sponsorship helps local clubs with their touramounts, and maintenance of the course.
CooperAitken Netball team 2011
CooperAitken support the girls from the office playing with shirts and entry fees.
Morrinsville Bowling Club 2011
CooperAitken funded pens celebrating the Morrinsville Bowling Club Centenary 2011.

Community House Foodbank 2010
In 2010 the CooperAitken team supported the Community House Foodbank, we even got our clients to help out. The groceries collected went to approx 50 families in the Morrinsville area who are genuinely in need over the Christmas period...
