Grant Eddy MMS CA
Grant joined Cave, Bannin, Sexton & Cooper in 1992 while still completing his Masters Degree in Management at the University of Waikato. After serving his time in the back office, he became a partner in 1997.
Grant as managing partner of the practice is fully involved in all aspects of running the practice and continually seeks way to improve the value and range of services provided to clients. He helps to ensure Cooper Aitken & Partners remains at the forefront of the rapidly changing environment. Grant takes pleasure in assisting his clients to reach their personal goals. He sees accountancy work not so much as tax compliance, but an opportunity to work with clients to ensure they realize all opportunities.
Grant pursues interests in travel, having been to many different places including China, Alaska, Canada and Hong Kong. One of several car enthusiasts in the company who has enjoyed the V8’s coming to the Waikato; Grant also enjoys technology and continuing to learn about anything new as early as possible.
Grant is married to Judith and they have three children who keep them busy with a range of activities. Living on the edge of Hamilton the family is enjoying their 2009 shift to a lifestyle block, which they are continually developing and working on.
