CooperAitken Celebrates a Century in Style ...

Our current team, past directors and previous staff were treated to a fabulous night at the Wallace Gallery in Morrinsville to celebrate CooperAitken’s 100 years of being in business.

The string quartet, Musica Viva, greeted the 150 guests as they entered the gallery, setting the elegant tone for the evening. The ladies of CooperAitken came out in stunning style, as were their dapper companions who were dashing in their upscale suits.

Bubbles flowed from the start, joined by an array of canapés that led into a superb dinner all provided by Cambridge caterers Gourmet Delicious. Through the meal CooperAitken board chairman Gavin Haddon MC’d the evening, sharing fond memories of his life with the firm amidst other speakers including distinguished leaders from the company’s past, all taking pride in what has evolved and what the future holds.

Once the speeches were done and a rousing chorus of “Happy Birthday” was sung as the massive cake was presented, Tim Armstrong bang struck up their tunes in the adjoining gallery as the guests danced on till the midnight hour.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening and fantastic tribute to a century of CooperAitken’s service to the community.
