New Team Members
Karleen Sutton joined us in March as PA to Peter Hexter and Marketing Support.
Brian Walker and Avinesh Ratnam also joined us in March as Accountants.

Adelle Foster started in November and is being a huge help getting our Dairy base Averages Statistics completed. Jessica England joined us in February as an accounting clerk
Becky Rhodes started in December as a junior accountant having had several years experience in a Chartered Accountancy Office
Rebecca Morris joined us in January and will be looking after our filling.

Health and Safety
The Health and Safety team have had there first round of training as CooperAitken try to obtain H&S audit.

Team update
Introducing 2 new members to the CooperAitken team Louise Cullen (left) started with us at the beginning of
September, Louise, who will be managing our workflow, is very client focussed and is actively looking for ways to optimise the turnaround of client work. Cherry Philpott (right) joined the team in early November and is looking to support and help our clients with their accounting and software packages.
Acknowledging our Sporting Achievements:
Judith Marston (left)belongs to the Te Aroha Angling Club and won Lady Angler of the year award AND the heaviest Trevally at 2.7kgs.
John Brosnan our HR adviser ( bottom right) achieved his black belt for Karate style of Koryu Uchinadi Kenpo-jutsu. The grading in October took 6.5 hours.

Joan Coffey was recognised by Sport Waikato Matamata Piako for her Service to sports and the 10 years she was Race Coordinator for the Morrinsville College Fun Run
Pink Day
The Team at CooperAitken had fun dressing in pink to raise money for National Breast Cancer Day.
Prizes were given out to Chloe for the most outrageous wig (Centre)
Maree Dobson for most decked out in pink, Matt (far left) received the prize for who made the least effort!
Christmas Party 2012
Great fun had by all at our Christmas function held at Windy Ridge, the smaller venue made it cosy. Lots of dancing to the band Tantrum, and the photo booth was very popular....
Team Communication
On the 26 Septmeber CooperAitken held a Team State of the Nation communication. All the team came along and heard about whats been achieved, key priorities & a quiz on all aspects of CooperAitken.
Exam Success
Hettie He’s graduation was in May 2012
Megan Johns passed two papers - Employment Relations and Organisation & Management. She achieved A’s in both. Well done Megan!
Michelle Weller completed papers on taxation, achieving 98%, and is now studying her final paper, Human Resources, towards her New Zealand Diploma in Business in November. Michelle is looking to continue studying and is aiming for her Accounting Technician qualifications.
Troy passed two more papers, Accounting Theory and Advanced Financial Accounting, and is well on his way to completing his Bachelor of Business Studies.
Matt Ward who has been studying towards his Bachelor of Business degree recently passed another paper, this time in Law.

We are really proud to have such a loyal team..
Lorna Peace (below centre) celebrated 10 Years service with us in September, many of you will know Lorna from her days on reception, now she is working on keeping our database up todate and printing clients financial accounts.
Shirley Scherer ( far right with Trevor Cooper) was congratulated by the Team for achieving 25 plus years with CooperAitken.
Robyn Pickett celebrated 10 years, She co-leads our ACC team has really enjoyed being part of this vibrant team. Robyn said “It’s been really challenging at times but I have learnt a lot along the way”.
Tracy Williams was away on maternity leave for her 10 years service anniversary back in January. During her time with CooperAitken she has completed her Chartered Accountancy studies, travelled to Europe, had a baby and is now back in our Morrinsville Office.
Maree Sattler our administration manager has developed an in depth knowledge of how CooperAitken works in the last 10 years. A true asset to our team..
Kareen Taylor also celebrated 10 years of service, Kareen supports the whole team and contributes so much to the team’s more light- hearted, fun initiatives.
Congratulatulations also to Deborah Hollands, Carmelle Blair and Linda Peek on completing 10 years with CooperAitken.
40 Years of Service
A delighted Mary Ann accepted her award from Trevor cooper, recognising her 40 years with the firm. Mary Ann reflected on all the changes and experiences she has had during this time, and also acknowledged many people who she has worked with over this time.
