Congratulations to Hayden Bartz and Erin Blackwood, getting married 4 Feb. Hayden joined CooperAitken a few months ago.
40 Years of Service
A delighted Mary Ann accepted her award from Trevor cooper, recognising her 40 years with the firm. Mary Ann reflected on all the changes and experiences she has had during this time, and also acknowledged many people who she has worked with over this time.
Christmas Party 2011
A fun time had by all last weekend 25th November 2011. Our team held their Christmas party at Hamilton City Gardens. Over 100 staff and their partners enjoyed the evening. One of our clients Daniel McAuley's band "Wingman" entertained us all.

Hettie passed her PCE-2, Hettie has been studying for 4 years, passing PCE -1 in 2008. Also Gemma Werder passed her PCE -1.

Matamata Office
We are very serious about our Matamata presence and have purchased a new building in Arawa Steet in a joint venture with Nicholsons. We are currently working with an architect to complete office plans and arrange the building of new offices at the Nicholsons premises. The Directors are very excited about this and believe it reiterates our commitment to having a permanent office in Matamata and providing quality service to our clients and an excellent working environment for our team. We expect to move into our new offices April 2012.

busy CooperAitken reception and meeting all our clients.
Lorna Peace is now working in the back office, on tax adminstration, ACC and our database.
Christine Smith after 13 years on our reception has retired to spend time with her family.
Qualification success
Kylie Crawford recently got accepted by the NZICA and is now a qualified Chartered Accountant. Kylie started her studying 7 years ago at university, this was followed by work experience and then further professional exams.
Ann-Marie recently passed the first stage of her Chartered Accountant qualification.
